At Wings for Peace, we recognize that skydiving and aerial sports, while inspiring and exhilarating, come with environmental responsibilities.
Each jump produces approximately 12 kg of CO₂—about the same as a short domestic flight or a 100 km drive. While our emissions may represent only a drop in the ocean, we believe that every action counts—especially when it comes to protecting our planet.
Skydiving relies on aircraft powered by jet fuel. While our overall footprint is modest compared to many industries, the climate crisis is real and already affecting the world’s most vulnerable communities. As an organization rooted in justice and peace, we believe environmental accountability is part of our mission.
To act on this responsibility, we’ve adopted a clear and measurable approach. One tree can absorb around 30 kg of CO₂ per year, so by planting one tree for every two skydives, we completely offset our emissions. This ensures that each jump we make is not just carbon-neutral—but part of something regenerative.
To implement this solution, we've partnered with One Tree Planted, a global nonprofit focused on reforestation, biodiversity, and carbon absorption. Their transparent model (1 tree = $1) allows us to turn every two jumps into one tree planted.
That means for every skydive, we contribute directly to tree planting—offsetting 100% of the emissions it generates. It’s a simple and impactful way to make each jump part of something bigger.
Today's climate crisis demands that we rethink how we live and pursue our passions. Instead of doing less or giving up what we love, we're committed to doing more—better and smarter. By integrating sustainability into our flights and programs, we prove that passion and environmental responsibility can fly side by side.
Skydivers around the world can join us.
